We seek to reduce our environmental footprint and industrialization as much as possible through our materials selection and production process, but also by creating partnerships with local Portuguese companies, extremely specialized, with years of experience that respect social and environmental principles
made in Portugal
We bet on the experience and rigor of the Portuguese textile so that each piece is made manually and in a unique way, by professionals who work the details meticulously.
The pieces are cut one by one, the seams are made in detail, and the adornments and embroidery are executed with high quality combined with a timeless design.
Environmental
Care
Our concept is based on slow-fashion, which promotes timelessness and durability of the pieces, in order to reduce “fast consumption” of clothes and avoid waste. We value the exclusivity of our pieces, which is based on the limitation of stocks, avoiding waste and promoting tailor made orders. We work to reduce our carbon footprint.
We minimize energy consumption and the use of chemical substances by taking advantage of industrial waste and prioritizing sustainable raw materials. We avoid long-distance transport of materials by prioritizing local partnerships. Plastic is not used throughout the production process, transportation, storage and packaging of Pur Noir products.
Ethical Work
We seek to minimize industrialization and bet firmly on national production, promoting employment in the community and avoiding rural depopulation. We help to preserve culture and identity, as well as the knowledge that is passed on from generation to generation, respecting the community and all ethical principles of work. We give priority to national suppliers and value certifications:
Öeko-Tex® 1000 which aims to ensure that environmental impacts have been minimized during production.
Öeko-Tex® Standard 100, which certifies that the textile is ecologically produced, without harmful substances to humans.
